A training for vaginal ultrasound in early pregnancy will be offered during the conference.

Films to be played:
Films dealing with different aspects of abortion will be shown during the conference. Access to the films is free for congress participants. Please find the program here.

Museum for contraception and abortion

A museum will open soon in Vienna. Participants will have the possibility to see some of the objects. Any contribution of objects, books, posters or stories to document the history of contraception and abortion will be appreciated.

Teaching and information material

All participants are invited to bring teaching and information material such as leaflets, posters and videos used in their country or institution. Please contact the organising committee if you have material to sell.

Enjoy brunch with music in a historical imperial environment, once the conference is over. Brunch will take place in the castle Schönbrunn at the „Gloriette“. Brunch starts at 9:00, please remember that your reservations valid only until 9:45.

By air
Vienna International airport is served by major airlines. There are currently only two low cost airlines serving Vienna: Air Berlin and Germanwings. From the airport to the city, you can take

  • Regular busses to the Westbahnhof (main railway station) or to the City Terminal (Wien Mitte)
  • Regional trains to the City Terminal (Wien Mitte)
  • A special train to the City Terminal (Wien Mitte): CAT, City Airport Train (unnecessarily expensive as ocmpared to bus and regional train)
